ABC is an active advocate of free enterprise and smaller, more efficient government at all levels. ABC takes the lead on issues that impact open markets and level playing fields for all contractors such as apprenticeship, prevailing wage reforms and project labor agreements. ABC works on many of the issues that affect construction and small business, such as workers’ comp and safety, unemployment insurance, tax reform and contracting out.
