ABC supports legislation to preserve the integrity and solvency of the unemployment insurance system by insuring that benefits are only available to workers who are unemployed through no fault of their own and for reasons that are directly related to the employer-employee relationship. ABC supports changes in the workers’ compensation system to give employers more control over managing claims, to allow income averaging and to eliminate inefficiencies and expensive rules and practices that drive up the cost of providing workers’ compensation benefits. Health Insurance
