ABC Preps for Another Fantastic Golf Extravaganza!
ABC is Ready for the 2010 Election Year, Are You?

ABC Preps for Another Fantastic Golf Extravaganza!

Have you signed up yet for ABC’s annual Golf Extravaganza? This year’s fun-filled tournament will be held at Echo Falls Golf Course in Snohomish on Thursday, July 15th. If you have never participated in our annual tournament, you are guaranteed to have a blast! This event sells out every year so if you haven’t already, be sure to get your registration in now. The ABC Golf Committee wanted to give you a break this year, so they've lowered the prices from last year!

With this always being a sold out event, this is a great sponorship opportunity. You will have a chance to network and promote your business to 144 players. Several sponsorship levels are still available: the coveted Dinner Sponsor (includes signage at dinner, a complimentary foursome registration, VIP parking at the course and a sponsor gift), Gift Giveaway Sponsor (includes your logo on gifts given to every player and sponsor, a full foursome registration, VIP parking at the course, and a sponsor gift), Tee Sponsors (face time with each foursome, plus a sponsor gift!), Special Tee Sponsors (sponsor a contest hole, meet each player, plus a sponsor gift!), and Green Sponsors (your company name on the green, plus a sponsor gift) are still available. All sponsors are on a first come, first served basis so sign up early to reserve the level you want!

New this year: the committee is allowing the men golfers to play from one of the women's tees - on one of the most challenging holes - but for a small price. If you are brave enough, you may don a woman's dress and hit nearly 100 yards closer than many of your opponents! For more information, or to register or sponsor, please contact Amy Gegoux at (425) 646-8000, (800) 640-7789.

ABC is Ready for the 2010 Election Year, Are You?

Join us for our June Member Dinner Meeting: The Current National and Local Political Climate on Wednesday, June, 23, 2010 from 5:00 – 7:45 pm at the Bellevue Hilton sponsored by Washington Commercial Painters, Inc. June is one of our most popular dinner meetings due to Retro refunds, S.T.E.P. awards and the 2010-11 ABC Member Directories that will be handed out, so you won’t want to miss this one!

This will be an exciting evening. We’ll hear from ABC National Chairman Jim Elmer who will be on hand to address the membership about what’s happening at our national association, important federal legislation affecting ABC members, and the 2010 national election. Mr. Elmer is the founder and owner of James W. Elmer Construction Co., based in Spokane.

In addition, ABC of Western Washington lobbyist Cliff Webster will discuss the upcoming November election from a local perspective. Mr. Webster heads the legislative and administrative practice group at Carney Badley Spellman, P.S. He was rated one of the top 10 "lobbyists to call to get things done" by Washington Law & Politics magazine. The magazine also named him a "Super Lawyer in Political Law," the only attorney in Washington State so designated. Mr. Webster is currently chairman of the Washington Liability Reform Coalition.

This is an important election year, so be sure and come find out from the pros what our political forecast is. For more information or to register, please contact Amy Gegoux at 800.640.7789.
