The ABC Membership Council has been chosen as the March volunteers of the month. Members of the Membership Council include Chair Larry Newton (Lovsted-Worthington LLC), Grant Larsen (Express Construction Co., Inc.), Greg Nolten (Dochnahl Construction Inc.), Amanda Smith (Sprint), Dan Case & Candi Pfluger (Clothier & Head PS), Pam Stewart (Synergy Construction, Inc.), Brian Mead (Balancing Service Co.), Vaughan Seifert (Efinity Tech), and Todd Henry (Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker LLP).
The Membership Council went “Back to the Basics” this year to bring members more networking, more resources, and information more efficiently. They have their work cut out for them in trying to recruit new members during these times and keeping up with retaining as many members as possible. The council has been instrumental in helping revamp ABC events. They are very helpful in the planning phase and willing to give feedback on how to make each event better. The council provided members with a new way to network through the very successful Meet the Generals event and will continue this with the Excellence in Construction Awards Showcase. This group is constantly looking for ways to help members and bring members what they need to be successful.
We thank the ABC Membership Council for their passion and enthusiasm to keep ABC growing and moving forward. If you are interested in sitting in on this council, please contact Kim Trautman at 800.640.7789 or (425) 646-8000.

“The winners of this year’s awards represent the best of Washington’s business community,” said AWB President Don Brunell. “These are perfect of examples of the kind of innovation and forward-thinking that’s needed to attract the best workers to our state.
