ABC National and 19 other construction trade associations have joined to launch ConsensusDOCS, a new online service that offers more than 70 collaboratively drafted contract documents for use by owners, contractors, subcontractors, designers and surety companies.
“We are excited to offer ConsensusDOCS as a great new service and benefit to all of our members,” said Kirk Pickerel, ABC president and CEO. “This is another example of a ‘best practice’ offered by ABC to help our members increase their efficiency and profits.”
The documents were created through a “consensus process,” where each association had a full vote in deciding final contract terms, ensuring that the documents represent the best interest of the project.
The ConsensusDOCS contract documents are available in a number of different series, including general contracting (200 series), collaborative documents (300 series), design-build (400 series), construction management at risk (500 series), subcontracting (700 series) and program management (800 series). ABC members are eligible for discounted rates on all ConsensusDOCS contracts. For more information on ConsensusDOCS and discount rates, visit
