Volunteer of the Month: November
The Volunteer of the Month for November is Dustin Walling of Dustin Walling Associates. Dustin joined ABC in April of 2008 and has been actively involved since the day he joined. Dustin attends most ABC dinner meetings and networking events, and you can usually find him at the ABC office for a committee/council meeting. Dustin has assisted the ABC Framers Council in realigning their mission, as well as helping the council become more focused on their goals. Dustin attended the annual chapter Leadership Conference, is an ABC Rising Star, sits on the Membership Council, the North End Taskforce, and is working on developing a peer council within ABC for the industry professional members. Dustin volunteered as an instructor for the School of Construction Management, and is always willing to help when and where it is needed. Thank you, Dustin, for your time and energy and always working to take us to the next level.
Volunteer of the Month: December
The Volunteer of the Month for December is Larry Newton with Lovsted-Worthington, LLC. Larry has been an ABC member since the chapter’s inception in 1983 and has always been involved and active in a variety of different ways. Larry participates on the Membership Council, and is a member of the Recruitment Taskforce, whose main goal was for ABC to have 500 members by the end of 2007. Larry is a Beam Club member, a current board member, chairs the North End Taskforce, and is an instructor for the School of Construction Management. You will usually see Larry at the monthly dinner meetings, networking events, auction, golf tournament and other ABC functions. Larry has arranged for his company to sponsor events that support ABC, such as the golf tournament and the Annual Partnership program. Thank you, Larry, for your long-term support and continued participation.
