ABC kicked off its first Young Professionals Group meeting on August 7th at The Spot Off Main in Bellevue. Over 20 professionals from varied backgrounds attended -- from construction firms to insurance companies -- to network and share experiences with their peers. The evening was declared a success, and the next networking event will take place on September 3rd at the same location.
ABC has formed a YPG Steering Committee that is responsible for planning the events, as well as creating a mission statement and determining how the members of the YPG can garner value from this networking opportunity. The main goals of the group are to provide networking, educational and community service opportunities for its members, as well as to offer a way for members to get more involved with ABC and its programs.
