DEXTER CHANEY INTRODUCES PAYMENT CARD THAT ENHANCES PURCHASING CONTROLS, INTEGRATES JOB COSTS (08/29/2008)
Dexter + Chaney (www.dexterchaney.com) has introduced a co-branded payment card for fuel and other purchasing transactions that enables its construction-company clients to enhance their purchasing controls and integrate costs faster than traditional non-card payment methods. The company recently signed an agreement with Comdata® Corporation, a leader in payment innovation, to offer the Comdata MasterCard® payment card to users of Dexter + Chaney’s Spectrum® Construction Software.
“The Comdata solution allows Dexter + Chaney clients to manage their budgets by more efficiently integrating their job costs,” said John Chaney, Dexter + Chaney co-founder and president. “There is no other card solution that is easier for our clients to use than the Comdata MasterCard.”
Chaney noted that the payment card handles fuel purchases, payroll, travel and entertainment and other costs. “Most construction companies use multiple credit-card products,” Chaney said. “For example, they’ll use one card for fuel and another for payroll. The Dexter + Chaney Comdata MasterCard payment card combines those into a single card, which is much more efficient.”
“Comdata’s alliance with Dexter + Chaney solidifies our position as the leading fuel and purchasing card for the construction industry,” said Brett Rodewald, president of Comdata. “Our payment card solution provides better integration and spending controls so that construction companies can gain incremental cost savings and revenue share to succeed and thrive in this difficult economy.”
