Chelsey Stevenson, a field superintendent with S.M.E., Inc. of Seattle, was honored as the top electrician in the country at the ABC National Convention in Hawaii in the Craft Professional of the Year competiton. The candidates are evaluated on several critera: the candidate’s mastery of job-related skills, jobsite and safety performance record, leadership, professionalism, community and industry service, personal motivation, credentials, commitment to the merit shop philosophy and recognition by others for excellence in craft skills and teamwork to complete projects safely and successfully.
Chesley will be at the April 22nd dinner meeting to receive accolades from Western Washington, in addition to the National recognition he received at the awards breakfast in Hawaii.
