THE ABC GREEN COUNCIL PRESENTS SEPTEMBER DINNER MEETING PANEL (08/15/2009)

Do you want to find out what makes green building different from regular building? In this tight economy, why is it better? And what sustainable building construction practices do you see as becoming part of the local building codes in the future?

For the answers to these questions, and to have the opportunity to ask your own, come join us for our dinner meeting on Wednesday, September 23rd from 5 – 8 pm at the Bellevue Hilton. As a feature presentation, the ABC Green Council is pleased to present a panel of representatives from various municipalities including King and Snohomish County to participate in a Q & A session about sustainable building. Bill Malowney with Technocom, chair of the ABC Green Council will be moderating the discussion and will present questions from the audience.

The ABC Green Council was formed to provide a forum for education and networking related to the emerging field of sustainable building. The council offers free monthly roundtables from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm on the first Thursday of each month covering a variety of sustainable building topics. If you are interested in participating in the ABC Green Council, please contact Kim Trautman at (425) 646-8000, (800) 640-7789 for more information on monthly meetings.
