ABC’s new peer group, the Young Professionals Group, has been meeting monthly since September and the energy and excitement from this group has been fantastic. This group provides a very casual and fun environment where members discuss industry issues, meet new people and learn more about how to take advantage of member benefits. The purpose of the group is to try and get the future leaders of the industry involved with ABC, and help them grow professionally. Members of all ages are encouraged to attend.
ABC’s Young Professionals Group has some very exciting events planned for 2009. The February 4th networking event is going to be at the Azteca Mexican Restaurant in Bellevue. We are expecting a good turnout so this will be a great event to get to know others in the industry.
The April 15th event “Meet the Legends” will be a night for young professionals to mingle and talk face-to-face with some of ABC’s legends in the industry. This will be a wonderful opportunity, as some of the key men and women who have helped shape the construction industry as we see it today will be there. This is just a preview to the popular events that the YPG is planning!
