On June 4th, the ABCGreen Council Roundtable took their first field trip out to Glacier Recycle, a recycling facility located in Auburn.
Glacier Recycle is one of the largest wood recycling facilities in the country that has expanded into commingled C&D recyclables. They are currently processing collected commingled recyclables and sorting into wood, ferrous, and non-ferrous metals, gypsum, concrete and asphalt, cement fiber board, asphalt roofing, cardboard and various types of plastic. Glacier Recycle also offers a broad spectrum of container rental and hauling services.

The ABC Green Council Roundtables are held the first Thursday of every month. The next one is July 9th and will be a LEED® workshop. The council steering committee is always looking for interested members to join the group. The ABC Green Council Steering Committee is a fun group that develops programs and resources regarding sustainable construction. If you would like to attend or find out more information, please contact Kim Trautman at (425) 646-8000, (800) 640-7789.
