Event Description:

Join us for a relaxing evening of wine and networking in the gorgeous Woodinville area. ABC of Western Washington's Young Professionals Group was formed to promote and encourage professional growth through social, professional, and recreational opportunities.

The event includes a panel on political involvement.  We’ll hear from young professionals about their journey into politics, they’ll field questions from the audience, and explore ways young professionals to advance issues in the political arena in ways they find meaningful. Panelists will be located at the third stop of the wine walk (Alexandria Nicole Cellars).

Meet the panel:

In 2014, at the age of 24, Melanie Stambaugh made history when she became the youngest female elected to the State House since 1934, and she is currently the youngest legislator serving in the Washington State House of Representatives.  Earlier this year, Melanie made the difficult decision to leave her seat in the State Legislature to focus her efforts on her business, You Impression, LLC which specializes in professional and leadership development.  As a Confidence Consultant, Melanie works with organizations, business teams, and individuals enabling them to achieve their personal and professional goals.

Bailey Takacs is a resident of the Snoqualmie Valley where he manages the campaign for State Representative Paul Graves in the 5th legislative district. He has enjoyed the challenge of working at the federal, state, and local levels of government where he hopes to continue his career. He aspires to encourage more civic engagement and advocate for a transparent and open government.

Andrew Bell graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 2016, studying economics and political science. He was the campaign manager for Washington Secretary of State Kim Wyman's successful re-election campaign in 2016, and currently manages Dino Rossi's campaign for Congress in Washington's 8th Congressional District. When not consumed by campaign season, he enjoys watching Star Trek with friends, exploring new restaurants, and playing with his family's corgi.
