Setting Expectations and Providing Feedback
When expectations are properly set, the construction leader can fairly evaluate the performance of the team, or members on the team and lead the celebration of accomplishment.
When expectations are not properly set, in addition to unsatisfactory results, the leader will have difficulty in holding people accountable.
Nobody wants to work for an organization where they don't understand what just happened or worry about what is about to happen. They want to be informed. They want feedback. They want to provide feedback.
Participants will learn:
- The value of setting expectations.
- Steps for successful expectation setting.
- Tips for providing constructive feedback.
- Tips for asking for and receiving feedback.
