Class #4: Bids and Bid Protests

Whether your job is public or private, numerous “rules of the game” exist regarding bidding. These include responsiveness, responsibility (including supplemental bidder responsibility criteria), and other legal issues regarding the bidding process. Case studies will be discussed regarding bid protests. We will discuss how to remain the low bidder and how to protest a low bid. We will also discuss tips and strategies relating to court actions involving bid disputes.
