Rob McKinney, "The Construction App Guru," will speak on the state of mobile devices and how apps are being used on construction sites to improve workflows such as plan mark ups and capturing progress photos. He will demonstrate five apps that can be used for workflow improvement. Rob will explain the process of moving your company from paper to digital and how to overcome the challenges of getting everyone on board.

Karl Sorensen will be covering the future of technology tools for construction: the latest products and apps, what's under development, and what is being predicted for the future.

There will be time for Q&A after the presentation.

Prior to the presentation there will be a vendor showcase, where various app, equipment and software solution vendors will be available to demonstrate their products and show you how to utilize them in your business.

Each of our Tech Sponsors will also have 5 minutes of podium time to demonstrate their product.

Rob McKinney is the Construction Risk Engineer at XL Catlin and currently serves as Chairman of the AGC Georgia Technology Committee. He has presented at several technology in construction events, and is a regular contributor to articles regarding technology (Constructech, The Construction Specifier, AEC Magazine, Engineering Industry News, and more). He has also been a presenter on construction apps and their usage for ABC National's webinar series. To learn more, visit
