Topics include practical safety tips for stairways and ladders, review of DOSH & OSHA requirements, and competent person standards. This class will also focus on the safety aspects of scaffolding and current DOSH requirements. Participants will be introduced to scaffolding basics and common safety problems related to scaffolds. Topics include different types of scaffolds (such as supported and suspended scaffolds), as well as the interpretation of the related standards.
