The construction industry has one of the highest rates of suicide in the country. For the construction industry, mental health awareness and suicide prevention are just as important as preventing injuries. This 90-minute training will help create a better understanding of the role you can play in suicide prevention. You will learn the importance of talking about suicide, identify risk factors and warning signs, and practice the tough conversations around suicide. After the training you will feel knowledgeable about suicide prevention, confident talking about suicide and getting help, and being able to apply what you have learned.
