Are you up to standards for Confined Space training? Are your employees aware of the dangers of working in a confined space? Entering confined spaces presents numerous hazards for a construction worker, frequently resulting in serious illness or fatality. Often the hazards can’t be seen or otherwise sensed - until it is too late. This class will cover discuss an overview of confined space requirements, review of federal and state standards, pre-entry testing and hazard elimination, hazardous atmospheres, and work environment hazards.

Class participants will learn how to identify these spaces, and what controls must be implemented prior to entry including:

  • Training Requirements
  • Confined Space Hazards
  • Space Classification
  • Air Monitoring (4-gas meters)
  • Forced Air Ventilation
  • Postings
  • Controlling Access
  • Emergency Rescue Requirements
  • Duties of Attendant and Space Supervisor
  • Permit Process

Cancellation Policy for Events & Classes:
